True Smile Lift
The aesthetics of your smile extend beyond your teeth. While dental procedures such as porcelain veneers and Invisalign® can dramatically improve your smile’s appearance, Dr. Joseph Willardsen goes beyond the scope of traditional dentistry with an innovative treatment he introduced here at True Dentistry called the True Smile Lift. This advanced non-surgical procedure addresses fine lines and wrinkles in the face and neck by tightening your skin. The procedure involves four different treatments, all revolving around the advanced Dental M6 device, to ultimately help you achieve a more youthful, rejuvenated appearance.

The True Smile Lift Process
Dr. Willardsen typically begins a Smile Lift with an in-office teeth whitening session, which involves a custom-fitted tray filled with a mixture composed of 45% bleach. While the bleach is taking effect, you will undergo the Facial Fitness portion of the treatment. With the FDA-approved Dental M6 technology, the handheld device glides over your face, suctioning your deepest skin layers. As a result, toxins are released from your facial tissue, blood flow is improved and your natural collagen is stimulated to grow. Facial Fitness is typically performed on the skin surrounding the eyes, on the jawline and on the neck. Many patients who have received the Smile Lift have found that their facial and neck contours have been improved, as lost volume has been restored.
The third step of the Smile Lift involves the Enzyme Lip Peel™, which is a product from the True Dentistry skincare line Tru Smile. This can be used in conjunction with our other products, such as the Lip Conditioning Treatment™, Collagen Building Lip Product™ and others for a more extensive skin rejuvenation.
The fourth and final treatment of the Smile Lift is simple facial exercises, the same type that Dr. Willardsen often uses to help patients improve their TMJ symptoms. The stretching and building of muscles can help tone and define sagging skin in certain areas affected by aging.
By combining teeth whitening, Facial Fitness, the Enzyme Lip Peel™ and facial exercises, you can achieve a significantly improved smile that goes beyond your teeth. To help reach your aesthetic goals, Dr. Willardsen may recommend a series of treatments to achieve the optimal results, depending on the extent of your needs.
