Las Vegas Dentist Shares Life-Changing Dental Solutions on The Doctors

Cosmetic dentist Joseph Willardsen, DDS has been featured on the Emmy-winning daytime talk show The Doctors, where he presents a former bulimic’s smile makeover and reveals the potential of injections for teeth grinding.

Las Vegas, NV – With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Joseph Willardsen, a cosmetic dentist in Las Vegas, has become known for his proficiency in creating beautiful, healthy teeth. In addition to providing advanced dental care at True Dentistry, he has been featured in the media on several occasions to share his expertise on various procedures. One of his recurring appearances has been on the popular daytime talk show The Doctors. During his first collaboration with the show, Dr. Willardsen performed a comprehensive smile makeover for a military wife who had suffered serious gum disease damage. Since then, he has had the chance to reveal additional life-changing dental solutions.

In his return to The Doctors, Dr. Willardsen presented a dental case that involved a model who was recovering from bulimia. This woman had suffered from the emotional eating disorder for 20 years, which had caused numerous health issues – the worst being her severe oral damage. The act of binging and purging for two decades had caused problems ranging from tooth erosion to missing teeth. Desperate for physical and emotional relief, the patient sought Dr. Willardsen to learn about her treatment options. After extensive treatment of her teeth and gum issues, the patient revealed her bright new smile on the episode, saying it “changed [her] life.”

Following the case about tooth repair following bulimia, Dr. Willardsen had the opportunity to collaborate once again with The Doctors on a segment about tooth grinding. He uncovered the truth behind using injections for curing bruxism. In the episode, Dr. Willardsen explained to the audience that by administering the injectable into the jaw muscles, patients can find relief from their headaches and pain. Injections help the target muscles relax, prevent them from clenching as hard, and even allow them to shrink to a degree over time, ultimately aiding in the long-term treatment of tooth grinding.

Throughout his experience working with The Doctors, Dr. Willardsen has been able to pull from his expertise as a cosmetic dentist to change lives – whether through direct treatment or by audience education. He looks forward to future collaborations with the talkshow, helping more people improve the form and function of their teeth and feel proud to show off their beautiful smiles.
